Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before care begins.

Service availability depends on assessment, location, staffing, scope, timing, and finalized written terms.

What is the difference between nurse concierge and private-duty nursing?+

Nurse concierge services are periodic assessment, monitoring, education, communication, and care-navigation visits. Private-duty nursing provides longer or more frequent individually scheduled nursing coverage after assessment and staffing confirmation.

Can Gentle Hand Wellness support a client who lives in a facility?+

Yes. Private-pay nursing may supplement care in assisted living, independent living, group homes, rehabilitation programs, nursing facilities, and other residential settings. It does not replace the facility’s required staffing or legal responsibilities.

Do you accept insurance?+

Gentle Hand Wellness primarily offers self-pay and private-pay service pathways. Facility, employer, provider, and organization arrangements can be reviewed individually.

Can a nurse change medications or interpret laboratory results?+

No. Gentle Hand Wellness may reinforce provider-issued instructions and communicate concerns through authorized channels, but does not prescribe, independently change medications, diagnose, or interpret laboratory results.

How does care begin?+

Care begins with a request and service-fit conversation. Nursing services are confirmed only after location, needs, scope, staffing, pricing, and written terms are reviewed.

Is this an emergency service?+

No. Website requests are not monitored as an emergency service. Call 911 or seek immediate emergency care for urgent or life-threatening concerns.
